Art of Womanhood is a multi-denominational non-profit organization. Our programs encourage women to work within community and home to fulfill their roles as wives, mothers, daughters, sisters and friends. We assert that great synergy is created to enhance and strengthen individuals and the family when women and men counsel together and invite the guiding hand of Providence. As women remember, embrace, and magnify their inherent roles, families will be fortified, thereby effecting essential and powerful change in the world.

 

Our Program

The Art of Womanhood program is designed to help women discover and define answers to three questions:

Our program and its courses reflect the “epic journey” that each one of us takes as we develop womanhood in our lives–the same journey that is represented in the petals of our sunflower. We want to emphasize that developing the art of womanhood is a journey. It’s a process, and it is individual. Each participant can engage in one level of her journey at a time, stringing the lessons learned on each level together to create the final product.

Women read the suggested materials and complete the assignments at their own individual speed with no deadlines and no pressure. They are provided with a study outline, and they can choose to complete the journey alone, persuade a friend to go through it with them, or appeal to their mother or grandmother to join them.
